We are seeing more often Churches that desire to move into the ministry of Assisted and Senior Independent Living. A number of Churches are now acquiring large parcels of land and as part of their master plan they are including this type of project as one of their future phases. We have found that most Churches have some type of Senior Ministry but really do not address the daily ministry needs when it comes to the residents of Assisted and Senior Independent Living. With one of our family members, we witnessed the same thing when we had to transition her into a facility. The facility where she resides is excellent but other than Sunday church services really misses the mark when it comes to true ministry. The same goes for senior facilities operated by major denominations, good and competent care are given but again little to no ministry is provided. There are usually no daily bible studies, no witnessing to the lost, no winning souls into the kingdom, no ministry to heal the sick. All this is lacking when most of the residents are reaching a time in their life where they really need this type of ministry the most. Most realize that they have reached the final chapters in the life but yet there is no ministry to help them transition. Another component that is lacking with regards to Churches moving forward into Assisted Living is access to capital / funding plus finding proper expertise with regards to development and management of the facility. This is all now available in a complete turnkey package with MC3care.
